Session Fees
All sessions are 50 minutes in duration and will be charged at $200.00. If you require any report writing to be completed, this will be charged accordingly. Please note that Wattle Tree is not a bulk billing practice
Medicare
Wattle Tree provides psychological treatment under the Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative. If you are eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan from your general practitioner, you will be able to access a Medicare rebate. You will still have an out of pocket cost. A fee of $200 applies to all individual therapy session however you will receive a Medicare Rebate of $96.65 per session so your out of pocket cost will be $103.35. Please note that payment of the full fee is required before your Medicare rebate is processed. With a Mental Health Care Plan, you will be eligible for up to 10 rebatable sessions per calendar year.
Cancellation Policy
To provide our services and support, we need to be able to utilise all our appointment availabilities. The psychologist reserves the whole hour specifically for clients when appointments are booked.
We understand that sometimes you may be unable to keep an appointment because of a sudden illness or an unexpected event. If this happens to you, please get in touch with us as soon as possible to discuss the situation.
Notifying us that you cannot attend an appointment allows us to offer the allocated time to another client who may be on a waiting list.
A late cancelled appointment is a loss to three people:
1. The client who is delaying their therapy progress.
2. Another client on the waiting list to see the psychologist.
3. The psychologist who spent the time preparing the session.
The full service fee will be charged 24 hours prior to your appointment. If you wish to cancel, 24 hours notice will be required. For an appointment that has been missed with no notice (non-attendance), the full service fee will be charged. The specifics of your situation will be discuss to assess if you will be charged.
Please note: Whilst we send appointment reminders, this is a courtesy only and attending appointments remains your responsibility.
Referrals
You do not require a referral to access support at Wattle Tree. However, should you wish to claim a rebate from Medicare, you will require a referral and a Mental Health Care Plan from your general practitioner.
Payment
All payments will be made 24 hours before your appointment. Before booking an appointment, you will complete a form where we will ask you to provide your card details that will be securely stored in our system to make payment and process any Medicare rebate.
